There is a lot of speculation before the game Borussia Dortmund v/s Bayern Munich at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund that who is going to wind the match behind the closed doors or does Bayern Munich slips and give Dortmund a chance to come back in the Bundesliga title race.
In the world, it is quite evident that the match between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich was always a high-intensity game as the matches between these two major Bundesliga clubs mostly decide the title goes which way in the future.
On 26th May 2020, another encounter happened between two major clubs and it was a close encounter throughout 90 minutes. The only thing which separates the two teams was the GOAL of Joshua Kimmich in the first half of a full 90 minutes match.
Kimmich scored at a perfect chip goal over Dortmund’s Keeper Roman Burki which handed the Bayern a sweet victory over their Title Rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Also Kimmich teammate Robert Lewandowski hits the goal post on 83rd minute and fairly misses the chance to double their lead against title rivals. However, Bayern ended up winning the game by 1-0.
Bayern is now won 7 straight wins which sees them 1st in the table with 64 Points leaving behind Dortmund with 57 points and RB Leipzig 54 points sitting on third, who face Hertha Berlin on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich Coach Hansi Flick Says in Post-Match interview that,
“I do not live in the future. The here and now is important,”
“We wanted to win today and take a big step forward. We did that. We were focused, decisive, and courageous at times. I am satisfied with my team.”
After defeat Borussia Dortmund Defender Matt Hummels gives the interview in which he said,
“I think that now it is only up to Bayern to decide the title,” said Dortmund’s Mats Hummels.
“We are seven points behind and can do nothing more than winning our games. But we have to hope they slip up three times. We know how good they are.”
